Delta County Sheriff Marshall Lynch and Constable Elmo Robinson were sworn into office on Monday afternoon in Delta County.
Sheriff Lynch, previously Constable for the past seven years, won the 2024 primary elections against incumbent Charla Singleton.
“As we welcome the new year, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for trusting me to continue serving as your sheriff,” said Sheriff Lynch. “It is an honor beyond words to lead this office and work alongside the dedicated men and women who protect and serve our community every day. Serving as your Sheriff is a privilege I hold with the utmost respect, and I remain steadfast in my commitment to maintaining the integrity of this office and earning the trust you have placed in me.”
Sheriff Lynch was officially sworn in to begin his term as Delta County Sheriff on Jan. 1 2025, though he stepped into the role early.
Robinson, who stepped into the Constable role early following the early departure of Sheriff Lynch, won the race ahead of Dustin Hunter and Kip Sonntag.
