Barbara Marie Bowman Reed, 66 of Paris, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Stillhouse Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Paris.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. No services are scheduled.
Barbara was born in Paris, Texas on August 4, 1958 to Billy Joe and Virgie Louise Johnston Bowman. She attended North Lamar High School. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and working in the yard.
She is survived by her son, Daniel Reed; mother, Virgie Louise Bowman of Paris; sister, Vickie Nell Bowman Pirtle (Rick) of Paris; granddaughter, Rebecca Pendergraft (Leo); grandson, Leo.
She is preceded in death by her father, Billy Joe Bowman; grandfather and grandmother.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Stillhouse Healthcare Center, to Jamie McDeely, her nurse from Heart to Heart Hospice.
