The coronavirus pandemic may have changed many annual shopping experiences, but it hasn’t changed the ever-popular “Back to School” Tax-FREE weekend set for Aug. 7-9.
For Texans, the upcoming savings weekend will help students, parents, and anyone else looking to grab some essentials without worrying about the added sales tax and all the while saving some pennies.
This year shoppers can purchase items in the following categories without paying sales tax:

Qualifying items can be purchased tax-free from a Texas store, online or catalog seller doing business in Texas.
