An adoption event hosted by Baby Gunn’s Animal Rescue is slated for Saturday, June 4 from noon-4 p.m. “under the Big tree” at Atwoods, 2445 N. Main Street.
“Look for our new adoption trailer with awning, so can set up rain or shine and there’s a Corn dog stand set up in front of us that has the BEST food ever.”
Basic adoption fees of $150 cover all vetting – vet check for health, heartworm test, shots, wormer, spay/neuter, a microchip for life, and flea/tick/heartworm med.
“Come see us and find your fur-ever friend,” said Adoption Coordinator Sheri Ashford.
All dogs require applications to ensure the pet “is a right fit for your family, and if you lease or rent your home we must have approval from the landlord to adopt.”
