Applebee’s is taking our love for Twizzlers to a whole new level with the ‘Strawberry Dollarita’.
Did we mention it’s only $1 in April? Oh, and the Twizzler is a straw you can actually drink through.
“Applebee’s is all about providing a fun, memorable experience with friends,” said Patrick Kirk, vice president of beverage innovation at Applebee’s, in a news release. “Sippin’ on a STRAWBERRY DOLLARITA through a strawberry-flavored TWIZZLERS straw is just about the coolest and most exciting way to drink a margarita. No question about it.”
The beverage contains tequila, strawberry & margarita mix, is served on the rocks, and, we can’t stress this enough, comes with a Twizzler straw.
The promotion is part of the chain’s “Neighborhood Drink of the Month.” Each month, there is a new cocktail available for a dollar or two. Past promos have included the Hurricane, a 10-ounce pour of Bud Light, and vodka lemonade.
