Around 1:25 p.m. this afternoon, multiple law enforcement agencies responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Lamar Road and Turtle Creek Drive.

“A 29-year-old Reno woman was turning west from Turtle Creek Drive onto Lamar Road and struck a Harley Davidson motorcycle in the inside lane that was eastbound, driven by a 53-year-old Sumner man,” said Reno Police Chief Jeremy Massey.

According to the report, the man was knocked from the motorcycle and it traveled approximately 550 feet crossing oncoming traffic lanes and struck a utility pole.

“The man was transported by Paris Emergency Medical Services with non-life threatening injuries.”

The accident was investigated by the Reno Police Department and Texas DPS Highway Patrol. The Reno Volunteer Fire Department and Lamar County Sheriff’s Office assisted with traffic control.
