Apple announced Friday a serious issue with some iPhone 11s causing the screen to become unresponsive.
“Apple has determined that a small percentage of iPhone 11 displays may stop responding to touch due to an issue with the display module,” the company posted on its website.
Devices possibly affected include those manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020.
”If your iPhone 11 has been exhibiting this issue, please use the serial number checker (here) to see if your device is eligible for this program,” the company continued. “If so, Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider will provide service, free of charge.”
For those who paid to have the repair done to their device and believe it was affected by the same issue, contact Apple about a refund here.
