The Paris Police Officers Association Annual Varmint Hunt has been set for February 16th and 17th and registration is now open.

“All money raised from the hunts and other fundraisers we host throughout the year go to fund college scholarships for each of the area high schools, as well as helping officers in need and people in the community that may need help,” said PPOA vice-president Jeff Padier.

Entry is $100 per team (two-man teams) with a big dog/cat pot being $20 per person.

“The event gives hunters a chance to do what they love with the chance to win some great prizes.”

The hunt starts at noon on Saturday, February 16th and ends Sunday, February 17th at noon.

Those wishing to participate can register now. Registration will be taken up until the day of the hunt.
