An ‘overwhelming interest in workforce’ causes Wendy’s to delay grand opening to March 15
Wendy’s announced delaying its grand opening to March 15 after receiving what officials have said an “overwhelming interest in folks wanting to work for us.”
“Our staffing has exceeded expectations and we need more time to train the extra team members,” said William Hamilton, director of projects. “We only get one opportunity to have a successful opening so extending our training time allows us to ensure that we are prepared.”
According to Division Marketing Manager Eileen Eilert, Wendy’s has wanted to be in Paris’ market for “a long time.” She said they believe Lamar Avenue’s synergy “is a perfect fit for our brand and the community.”
Wendy’s is famous for its hamburgers, frostys and chili.
“We are very excited to serve Paris and the surrounding communities our signature Frosty and Chili as well as our hot ‘Made To Order’ hamburgers, salads, chicken sandwiches and the best breakfast in town,” Hamilton added. … we look forward to seeing you on the 15th.”
Wendy’s is located at 3415 Lamar Avenue in Paris.
