A statewide Amber Alert was issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety for Stevie Johnson who was last seen wearing a gray jacket, blue jeans and Air Force One shoes when she was allegedly taken from a school bus stop in the 800 block of Cascade Dr in Glenn Heights by her biological mother, who does not have legal rights to her, at about 5 p.m. on Nov. 1.
Johnson is a 14-year-old black female with brown eyes, brown hair, weighing about 120 lbs and about 5 feet tall.
The suspect in question is Shawnice Hickman, a 33-year-old black female with brown eyes, black hair, weighing about 190 lbs and about 5-foot and 7-inches tall. She was last seen wearing a black and red jacket with tiger-striped sleeves, black leather pants and red shoes.
According to the Director of Public Safety for Glenn Heights Keith Moore, Hickman is Johnson’s biological daughter, however, she does not have legal rights to the child.
The two were last seen in a Black, 2017 GMC Terrain with a Missouris license plate with the number CT0D6R. Authorities suspect they are en route to Missouri.
