The Paris Fire Department on N. Main opened their doors earlier today to Aikin Elementary kindergarten students who learned the importance of fire safety.
Students learned what to do in case of an emergency and to have a plan of action when a fire breaks out.
They also got to tour the firehouse, seeing where local firefighters eat and sleep, as well as, getting up close to and sitting in the fire trucks.
Sparky The Fire Dog also made a special visit.
