Paris Police Department Drug Arrest
On September 24, 2026, at approximately 11:40 p.m., officers with the Paris Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 10 block of NW 7th Street.
During the stop, officers made contact with the driver and front-seat passenger, who provided consent for officers to search the vehicle. During the search, officers located a THC vape pen containing two full cartridges of illegal THC liquid, along with additional drug paraphernalia.
The female occupant was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 2, 4–400 grams, a second degree felony
The female was transported to the Lamar County Jail, where she was booked without incident.
Officers made 35 traffic stops, made 4 adult arrest, and answered 61 calls for service during this reporting period.
