North Lamar ISD is proud to announce Kyler Waldroup and Mayzie Musgrove as the Class of 2027 Homecoming King and Queen.
Waldroup was crowned Homecoming King during the Homecoming pep rally, while Musgrove was named Homecoming Queen during the evening’s Homecoming festivities.
Kyler Waldroup is the son of Kendra and Jeremy Waldroup and the brother of Kenzley and Klara Waldroup. His grandparents are Ken Wall, Michelle Wall and Sandy Waldroup.
During his time at North Lamar High School, Waldroup has been involved in BETA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, HOSA, where he serves as vice president, National Honor Society, where he serves as president, and Student Council. He has also been a member of the Panther basketball and baseball programs for four years.
After graduation, Waldroup plans to attend college and pursue a doctorate in physical therapy.
Mayzie Musgrove is the daughter of Stoney and Meagan Musgrove and the sister of Andrie Musgrove. Her grandparents are Linda and Stacy Musgrove and Janie and Richard Sharrock.
Musgrove has been active in a variety of organizations throughout her time at North Lamar High School. She serves as BETA president, HOSA secretary, National Honor Society secretary and a Student Council officer. She is also a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
In addition to her academic and leadership involvement, Musgrove has participated in varsity volleyball, played varsity softball for four years and has been a varsity cheerleader for two years.
After graduation, Musgrove plans to attend college and earn a degree in physical therapy.
North Lamar ISD congratulates Waldroup and Musgrove on being selected by their peers to represent the Class of 2027 as Homecoming King and Queen and wishes them continued success throughout their senior year.
