On Monday, the Paris ISD Board of Trustees celebrated Mary Grace Gibbons, who was selected as one of only 15 students across the entire state of Texas to receive the State Board of Education Student Heroes Award.
“Mary Grace earned this incredible recognition for her heart for serving others and her work to help make sure food that might otherwise go to waste can instead help students and families through her school share program and community refrigerator. But Mary Grace isn’t finished yet.”
This week, Paris ISD will be following along as Gibbons helps another Paris ISD school begin its own share program with a brand-new refrigerator.
