As the holiday shopping season is bearing down, many retailers opted to close this Thanksgiving Day. Here are the stores expected to be closed:

Stores expected hours for Thanksgiving Day:
- Kroger – Closes at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day
- Dollar General: Stores will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Family Dollar – Stores will be open from 8 a.m.-9 p.m.
- CVS – Stores will be open from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. (according to its automated messenger)
