The Paris Rodeo and Horse Club crowned its new 2026-2027 Lil Miss, Rodeo Princess and Rodeo Queen during the 69th Annual Paris, Texas Rodeo over the weekend.
Aubrey Romero, 13, of Honey Grove, was crowned Rodeo Queen, while sisters Sawyer Cate Stephens, 6, and Cutter Grace Stephens, 11, of Paris, were crowned Lil Miss and Rodeo Princess, respectively.
Aubrey, an eighth-grade student at Honey Grove ISD, competes locally in rodeos aboard her horse, Dallas.
Sawyer Cate and Cutter Grace attend Chisum ISD, where they are in first and sixth grade, respectively.
Cutter Grace competes on her horses, Kate and Shiner, and won the Junior Barrel Racing event at the Paris Rodeo. Sawyer Cate rides her horses, Wheels and Classy.
“We are super excited to be able to represent the Paris Rodeo and Horse Club for the 2026-2027 year,” said Megan Stephens. “Both girls had a great week and we can’t thank everyone that was there to help.”
Aubrey’s grandmother, Vicki Been, also thanked those who supported Aubrey throughout the competition.
“We want to thank everyone who supported Aubrey,” Been said. “It means the world to us seeing all the support.”
