Paris High School student Mary Grace Gibbons has been officially recognized by the Texas State Board of Education as a 2026 Student Hero.
Gibbons was recently honored in Austin as one of 15 students across Texas selected for the prestigious award.
“The award recognizes her outstanding leadership, service, and commitment to making a difference through Mr. Marvin’s Market—a student-led initiative that helps combat food insecurity while reducing food waste at Paris High School,” said Paris ISD.
Gibbons parents, who have supported and encouraged her every step of the way, were alongside her for the special moment.
Their pride reflects the dedication and heart that helped make this remarkable accomplishment possible.
