On June 19, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 100 blk of East Hickory. During a search of the vehicle, officers located various narcotics. Jason Thomas was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1/1-b <1G and Patches Wilson was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 >=4G<400G. Both were transported to the Police Dept. and booked in.
On June 19, Officers responded to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle in the 100 blk of Bonham. The owner of the vehicle told officers that 4 firearms were stolen from the vehicle. The incident is under investigation.
On June 19, Rachel Gregory was arrested in the 400 blk of NE 25th and charged with Driving While Intoxicated w/ Child under 15 Years of Age. Gregory was transported to the Police Dept. and booked without incident.
On June 19, Darren Matthew Johnson was arrested in the 600 blk of E Price on a Parole Violation Warrant for Burglary of a Habitation. He was transported to the Police Dept. and booked without incident.
On June 19, Officers took a report for Forgery of a Financial Instrument from a business in the 3500 blk of Lamar Ave. Officers were informed that a customer attempted to pay for a purchase with a fake $100 bill. The incident is under investigation.
On June 19, Officers responded to the 2000 blk of Polk St. for a Burglary of a Building. The victim told officers that someone had entered the property and took several items without permission. The incident is under investigation.
On June 20, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 10 blk of NW 1st and made contact with Dakota Blankenship. A search of the vehicle revealed narcotics. Blankenship was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance 1/1-B >=1G<4G. Blankenship was transported to the Police Dept. and booked in.
On June 20, Officers responded to a Burglary of a Habitation in the 900 blk of S. Main. The victim told officers that someone had entered their home without permission and stole items from inside the residence. The incident is under investigation.
On June 20, Officers responded to a theft at a business in the 3500 blk of Lamar Ave. The suspect managed to leave prior to officer’s arrival, but their identity is known. The suspect does have previous for Theft Under $2,500 which makes this offense a Felony. The incident is under investigation. Also during this investigation, officers arrested Gary Potter and Hervert Potter for possession of Felony narcotics.
On June 20, A call of a Criminal Trespass in the 1300 blk of Clarksville St. led to the arrest of Chantez Washington. Washington was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1/1-b >=1G<4G. Washington was transported to the Police Dept. and Booked in without further incident.
On June 20, Officers responded to Theft call at a business in the 900 blk of Clarksville St. Officers were told that a known person had taken items from the business without paying for them. The suspect is known to have two or more previous convictions which makes this offense a Felony. The incident is under investigation.
On June 20, Officers investigating a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle in the 1300 blk of N. Collegiate discovered that a Firearm had been stolen from the vehicle. The incident is under investigation.
On June 20, Officers took a report of a Sexual Assault that had occurred in the 200 blk of NE 12th St. The victim stated that they believed they were assaulted by a known suspect. The incident is under investigation.
