On May 4, Officers responded to the 1600 Martin Luther King in regards to a disturbance. They made contact with a victim who advised that Ashley Shay Stout (43) of Paris had assaulted him by slapping him in the face multiple times as well as pushing him. A background check revealed that Stout had multiple assaultive offenses with family members. Stout was arrested for Assault of a Family Member with Previous Convictions, a Felony. She was booked and placed in county jail.
On May 4, Officers were advised of a Burglary of a Vehicle in the 1000 block of Clarksville St. the victim’s vehicle was locked but the suspect broke out a rear window and gained entry to the vehicle. A handgun and extra magazines were stolen. The case is under investigation.
On May 4, Suspects made entry into a vacant apartment in the 200 block of SE 13th and caused intentional damage to the unit. The primary damage was drywall. Approximately $1200.00 in tools were also stolen. A construction crew is in the process of remodeling the apartment and the tools stolen belonged to the company. Witnesses were contacted and the case is under investigation. Preliminary investigation indicates possible juveniles as suspects.
Officers made 18 traffic stops, 2 adult arrest, and answered 103 calls for service during this reporting period.
