In a new study, Texas has been ranked the 10th least educated state based off key factors including educational attainment, school quality and achievement gaps between genders and races.
The study, conducted by WalletHub, also found Texas to have one of the least percentages of high-school diploma holders.
Interestingly, the top four ‘Most Educated States’ were Massachusetts, Maryland, Connecticut, and Vermont.
Montana has the highest percentage of High-School Diploma holder and Colorado has the highest percentage of Associate’s Degree holder or College-Experienced adults.
