On Apr. 25, Officers were notified of a Burglary of Building which occurred in the 1400 block of Boardwalk. The victim advised that someone had entered his locked storage unit and stolen firearms, electronics, sporting goods, and tools. Officers collected evidence at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
On Apr. 26, Officers responded to a Fight in Progress in the 1900 block of E. Booth. They arrived and made contact with a 25 year old victim who advised he had been assaulted and then threatened with firearms by known suspects. The victim advised that he had confronted some individuals for talking about him at which time they began assaulting him. The suspects then entered a nearby residence and returned with firearms, which they allegedly pointed at the victim. Numerous witnesses were present, but none who were cooperative. The investigation is ongoing.
Officers made 106 traffic stops, 3 adult arrest, and answered 384 calls for service during this reporting period.
