Hello, I am Lance Allison. After much contemplation and prayer, I am announcing my candidacy for Commissioner of Precinct 4 in Lamar County. As a lifelong resident of Lamar County with a strong connection to Precinct 4, I have a deep understanding of the community and its residents.
Currently, I am employed as the service manager for a local business in Lamar County. Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience in various mechanical roles, as well as approximately 10 years as a paramedic and about a year as a flight medic. These positions have taught me the importance of effective communication, working under pressure, and making critical decisions. My faith in God and family values are essential to me. I have been married for 40 years. We have a daughter (son-in-law), a son (daughter-in-law), and four amazing grandchildren.
When asked about my qualifications for the commissioner position, I would emphasize my commitment to and love for my community. If elected, my primary objectives would be to make myself available, maintain open communication, listen to the concerns of Precinct 4 residents, and work collaboratively to address the community’s needs. Together, we would manage the budget, prioritize road maintenance, and tackle the challenges faced by our growing community.
I am Lance Allison, and I would appreciate your support and vote in the upcoming election.
