La Bella Airosa was named the winner of the Best Salsa Competition at the 4th Annual Salsa on the Square, held September 19 in Downtown Paris.
This year’s competition brought together six local restaurants, each serving samples of their signature salsa to the public. Festivalgoers sampled the entries and cast their votes for their favorite, with La Bella Airosa receiving the most votes and earning the 2026 Best Salsa title.
The competition was part of an evening dedicated to celebrating Hispanic culture and bringing the community together. Presented in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, Salsa on the Square filled the downtown plaza with live music, traditional dance performances, local food, vendors, and a crowd of experienced and first-time dancers.
Now in its fourth year, Salsa on the Square continues to bring people together in the heart of Downtown Paris through food, music, dance, and culture. Paris Main Street thanks each of the seven participating restaurants for sharing their talents with the community and everyone who came downtown to taste, vote, dance, and celebrate.
