Paul Thomas Pavlicek, 62, of Reno, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025, at his home.
The family will plan a celebration of his life at a later date. Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
Paul, the son of John Paul Pavlicek and Carol Elizabeth Nelson Pavlicek, was born Oct. 16, 1962, in Houston, TX.
He graduated from Dulles High School in Sugar Land, TX. Paul then owned and operated a pool company, A1 Aquatics, and later worked as a sales manager for Proven Products.
He was an avid collector, enjoyed riding motorcycles and building RC cars.
His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Karen Anne Newman Pavlicek, three daughters, Elizabeth Jones, Laura Chesshire, and Jane Vajdak, three grandchildren, Brian Chesshire, Delilah Chesshire, and Riley Vajdak and a brother, David Pavlicek and wife Debbie and their family.
