Catherine Weaver, 100 of Paris, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018.
Funeral services have been set for Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Nolan Butler officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Catherine was born on May 11, 1918 in Red River County, Texas to Ollie and Lou Ada Barton. She was a faithful member at College Church of Christ, where she was the oldest living member. Catherine was actively involved in the church’s Toymaker Outreach. She loved to quilt and play games, especially 42.
She is survived by her sister, Martha Fox; numerous nieces, nephews and their families; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Weaver; parents, Ollie and Lou Ada Barton; twin sister, Maurine Middleton; sister, Jackie Lewis; brothers, Calvin Barton, Van Barton.
