On Sept. 11, an officer observed a disturbance in the 1800 block of Bonham St between a male and female. The officer intervened and separated the two subjects. After questioning both subjects the male was allowed to leave the area. Later when still questioning the female, she advised the officer that the suspect, her boyfriend, had choked her for several minutes that morning. The identity of the suspect was know and documented. The officer collected photographic evidence from the female and the case will be investigated further.
