Chisum Elementary students will wear blue on Sept. 18 to raise awareness for Pitt-Hopkins Syndrome Awareness Day and show support to 2nd grader Hosea Spencer, who lives with the condition.
“This day is especially meaningful to us as we honor and celebrate Hosea Spencer, a 2nd grade student at CES. We are truly blessed to be part of Hosea’s story and to learn alongside him each day,” said Chisum Elementary School.
Pitt-Hopkins Syndrome is a rare genetic condition that affects development, communication, and motor skills. By learning more and spreading awareness, we can help build understanding, empathy, and support for children and families living with this diagnosis.
“We invite all students and staff to wear blue to show support and bring awareness to this rare genetic disorder. Together, let’s show Hosea and his family how much love and support surrounds them here at CES.”
