In light of unforeseen weather conditions, Paris Steak Wars has been moved to Sunday, April 6.
This community-driven event, presented by South Main Iron and hosted by Iron Communities, remains as exciting as ever, featuring the best steak cook-off competition in the area, live music, delicious food, and a chance to connect with the community—all supporting a great cause.
Brittany Barney-Burns, Treasurer of Iron Communities, remarked, “Watching Paris Steak Wars grow over the past five years has been incredible. While weather changes can be unexpected, our commitment to bringing the community together remains the same. We couldn’t be more proud of how far this event has come, and we look forward to sharing this experience with you on Sunday.”
Weather permitting, the Pre-Party (free to attend) will take place Saturday evening from 5pm8pm at the Eiffel Tower Parking Lot. We are proud to have the Stoney Musgrove Band providing live music for the evening topped off with a beer garden and burgers!
The main event now takes place on Sunday, April 6, starting at 10 am with appetizers as the gates open. Steak tastings will begin at noon, ending with an awards ceremony at 3pm.
Held at the Love Civic Center, the event will showcase 40 cook-off teams and 24 vendors. While the event is free to attend, wristbands must be purchased to access the Steak Arena, where attendees can taste and savor steaks prepared by all the competing teams.
Lea Emerson, Vice President of Iron Communities, shared, “We’re thrilled to introduce an all new VIP experience this year. VIP attendees can enjoy exclusive perks like air-conditioned restrooms, a private bar, shaded seating, a premier viewing stage, casino tables, an official PSW shirt, and complimentary water. We want to elevate the experience for our guests and make it as memorable as possible.”
Entertainment includes live music performances from the Bulletproof, Tanner Legg and the Heaters, and Common Ground, ensuring the entertainment is as flavorful as the steaks.
Giving Back to the Community: All proceeds from Paris Steak Wars will benefit the local Downtown Food Pantry of Paris,
expected to create a significant impact for the pantry and individuals relying on its services.
“We’re incredibly grateful for our community sponsors who make events like this possible,” said Iron Communities President Kris Estep. “Special thanks to our title sponsor, Credit Union of Texas, whose support allows us to bring this event to life and give back to those in need.”
While the weather call has been made, the rain isn’t putting out the spark on this event! Things will heat up Saturday evening at the Pre-Party and prime time begins Sunday at 10am.
