On Mar. 4, a Paris Police Community Service Officer took a report of fraud related to an address in the 1800 block of Margaret Street. The complainant stated they paid a known person for labor and materials for renovation projects on their property. The complainant told the CSO that the work had not been completed, and they wanted to report the situation as fraud. A report was taken, and the incident will be investigated further.
On Mar. 5, an officer made contact with a subject in the 500 block of NE 17 Street. The subject provided her name to the officer. A search by dispatch revealed an outstanding felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance out of the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office stemming from an incident in 2024. Sara Marie Reed (19) was arrested on the warrant and booked into the Paris Police Department Jail.
Officers made 27 traffic stops, 2 adult arrests, and answered 82 calls for service during the reporting period.
