Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 1:58pm: Paris Police Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of NW 24th Street to a Disturbance Call involving multiple subjects. A male subject and his girlfriend had been fighting because of how the male was disciplining the girlfriend’s son. Further investigation determined an Active Protective Order was in place, stating that the Mother cannot be within 200 yards of her son. The Mother had two (2) prior convictions for violation of the Order. A new report of Felony Violation Bond-Protective Order 2+ Previous Convictions was filed. The mother was not arrest at the scene due to being transported to Paris Regional Health for a medical issue.
Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 9:50pm: Paris Police Officer responded to the 300 block of George Wright Homes and met with a victim stating that his apartment had been broken into. The Victim stated that he had been gone all day and arrived back to a completely destroyed living room. His 55 inch flat screen TV was destroyed on the living room floor. The victim advised that he had left his kitchen window up, but had locked the metal screen before leaving and the metal screen was now unlocked. Four Pair of Nike shoes, valued over $700, were stolen and a PlayStation Five valued at $1,500 was also stolen. A Burglary of a Habitation and a Criminal Mischief Report was taken to be investigated.
Wednesday, March 15, 2023: The Paris Police Department responded to 52 Calls for Service and arrested 3 adult persons.
