At about 3:15 a.m. on Sunday, Paris Police Department was dispatched to the Booker T. Washington Homes to a shots fired call, where it was reported two had been shot at, according to police.
“The victim stated that she heard what she believed to be gun shots as her daughter and her daughter’s friend ran inside the apartment stating they had been shot at,” according to police. “The girls gave officers a description of the suspect vehicle and identity of the shooter to further the investigation.”
Police found a round hole in the screen door’s wire mesh, marks on the brick wall next to the door “indicating that something had struck it,” and three shell casings were found in the general area.
