This year’s Salvation Army Regular Angel Tree registration is underway for children ages 0 to 12-years old.
The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program provides new clothing and toys for children in need at Christmas by allowing donors to “adopt” an “angel” (a child) by taking a tag from an Angel Tree and purchasing gifts from the child’s wish list.
Donors then return the wrapped gifts, which the Salvation army distributes to families so children can have presents under the tree on Christmas morning.
Applicants must bring the following to registration:
- Photo ID of the applicant
- Birthdates for everyone in the household
- Birth certificate or school record for children showing their birthday
- Custodial documentation if not listed on the birth certificate
- Recent months’ check stubs or SNAP, medicaid, TANIF benefit letter
- Proof of address (utility bill or lease)
- If possible, do not bring children over the age of 1 to registration, as space is limited
The only opportunity for Angel Tree Christmas Registration on a Saturday will be Oct. 11, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (doors open at 9:30 a.m.). Limited to the first 100 who check-in.
Regular hours for registration is Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Friday 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (see flyer for full schedule).
Registration will be held in-person at The Salvation Army of Paris – Social Services Building, 350 W Kaufman in Paris.
