Tony Allen, the 12-year-old boy injured at the baseball fields last night goes into surgery this morning
UPDATED 7:45 a.m: Myparistexas.com spoke to the family this morning and relea,
“Tony will go into surgery for his broken leg around 9:30 a.m. and they’re working on his leg they are going to sew up his lacerations. He had a rough night but they are taking good care of him.“
A 12-year-old boy has been airlifted to Dallas from the baseball field in Blossom after officials say he was hit by a vehicle pulling into the parking lot.
According to sources, the boy was riding a scooter in the parking lot and was hit by a truck turning into the parking lot shortly after 6 p.m.
The boy was flown out with a possible broken femur and head injuries but is expected to be fine.
Initial reports indicate it was an accident.
Blossom and Reno Volunteer Fire Departments along with Paris EMS responded to the scene.
The boy’s name has not been released at this time.
