Wesley Bowden, 52, passed this Sunday into the arms of the Lord. He is survived by his children Joshua Bowden and Kristina Bowden, his parents Jerry and Gloria Bowden, and his sisters Sharla Jones and Deana Tillett and their children. He was born April 8, 1966, graduated from Roxton High School in 1984, and had his two children soon after in 1985-87.
A generous and kind-hearted man, Wesley was beloved by his vast circle of friends as much as his family. He was a gifted guitar player an a skilled and enthusiastic dancer. Though he was disabled, he never stopped living as full a life as he possibly could and he found joy in being with people.
He was not only a loving father, son, and brother, he was also an empathetic listener who served as a confidant and steady rock for the troubled. He was a soul inclined towards giving and did not tally the cost so long as he could help those who needed help. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Memorial services to be held at a later date.
