The second grade Gifted and Talented students from Aaron Parker and Everett Elementary visited the Paris Water Treatment Plant to go along with their spring water project called ‘The Ripple Effect’.

Danny Rowell, WTP Superintendent, and Brandon Lewis, Chief Operator, gave the students a tour of the plant giving them information from the chemicals used to clean the water to how to rebuild filters saving the city money.  The second graders had great questions for Rowell and Lewis.

Sitting on the steps in front of the water plant, beginning front row, are Kylee Smock(Everett) and Emma Pedersen (Everett); second row, Addison Neisler (Everett), Camila Chappell (Parker), Blake Brannan (Parker) and Saahas Bhari (Everett); and back row, Addison Fortenberry (Everett), Brain Stevenson (Everett), Cohen Ray (Everett), Callen Sheridan(Everett), Raelyn Evers (Everett) and Manning Fuller (Everett).  GT teachers are Lara Fendley at Everett and Britany Creamer at Parker.
