PARIS, TX – The United Way of Lamar County (UWLC) will have its 2nd Report Out Meeting for the Annual Fall Campaign on Friday, October 18th at 9 a.m. This meeting will be held at Tailored Rides, one of the 20 partner agencies that will be receiving funding from UWLC in 2025.
This year’s Campaign goal is $625,000. If that goal is reached, $475,000 will go to the 20 partner agencies, and the remainder will support UWLC rent & utility assistance programs and their youth/educational programs.
UWLC Executive Director Jenny Wilson stated, “We are excited to hear from all of our workplace campaign volunteers and the partner agencies to see how close we are to reaching our goal. I also want to thank everyone who has already sent in their pledge!”
