The United Way of Lamar County (UWLC) is offering a $500 scholarship to Lamar County graduating seniors attending a two-year or four-year college in the fall.

Jenny Wilson, Executive Director of the UWLC, stated, “The United Way Board of Directors is very excited to once again offer this scholarship opportunity to seniors in our county.  This is the second year we have offered the scholarship, and we are excited to see the applications.”  Wilson added, “the United Way of Lamar County has always been committed to supporting education.”
