Two local students, Gracie Hawthorne and Madelyn Tullos, were recently named Texoma Chevy scholarship winners, each earning $1,000 from the Texoma Chevy Dealers.
Hawthorne, a 2023 graduate of Chisum ISD, currently has a 4.0 GPA (at time of video submission) and in addition to regular High School classes, she takes dual-credit classes at Paris Junior College. Hawthorne will be furthering her education at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas, majoring in elementary education and minor in Christian studies.
Tullos, a 2023 graduate of Paris ISD, currently has a GPA of 5.307 (at time of video submission). Tullos also plans to attend Ouachita Baptist University, majoring in communications with a minor in business. Throughout high school, she played on the volleyball and basketball teams.

Entrants were encouraged to have fun and let their “personality shine through” while sharing their academic achievements, future goals, favorite memories and more.
Two students from each dealership’s area were selected to receive the $1,000 scholarship.
