Friday, September 13, 2024; Officers responded to PRMC Hospital on Deshong Drive in reference to an incident in which a vehicle arrived at the hospital and the driver advised medical personnel that his friend in the car was not breathing. Hospital personnel immediately checked the welfare of a subject located in the back seat of the vehicle and found the 38 year old male to be in respiratory arrest. The victim was removed from the vehicle and taken into the hospital emergency room. The victim was later pronounced deceased. An investigation is ongoing and a cause of death is unknown at this time.
Officers made 31 traffic stops, 2 adult arrest, and answered 84 calls for service for this reporting period.
