It’s Opening Day in the baseball world and with that comes new concession items at Globe Park.
The Texas Rangers have unveiled the new concession items that they will be introducing for hopefully, very hungry fans at the Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas for the upcoming season.
Among the options is the enormous Fowl Pole: an 18-inch, 2-pound chicken tender served on a bed of waffle fries for an equally enormous price of $27.50.
Also on the menu, is a red, white and blue hot dog, an ice cream sundae served in a replica helmet, as well as options for vegetarian and vegan fans. These vegetarian and vegan options are located in Section 16.
“This year we are going all in with Beyond Meat. We’re going to have their burgers here, street tacos, chili,” said Casey Rapp, a spokesman for Delaware North Sports Service.
The Rangers open the season this afternoon with the Chicago Cubs in town for a three-game series.
