After a successful soft-opening on the weekend, Tag’s Hometown Bar & Grill – The Depot will open its doors tonight at 5 p.m. at the historic Train Depot in Paris.
Paris is the second location, Mount Vernon being the first, for the successful restaurant owned by former NBA star Greg Ostertag who has a deep-rooted connection to the region.
Born and raised in Texas, Ostertag’s love for sports and the undeniable charm of East Texas inspired him to create a haven for fellow sports enthusiasts and food lovers alike. With a vision to blend the electric energy of live sports with mouthwatering cuisine, Tag’s was born.
The menu is a fusion of classic comfort dishes and contemporary culinary creations, carefully crafted to satisfy every palate, according to the website.
“We host events that celebrate local sports teams, charity fundraisers, and special gatherings that bring East Texans together.”
While doors open at 5 p.m. tonight (May 13), regular hours will be Monday to Wednesday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday and Friday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
