Suzanna Kay Landers gained her wings in the early morning hours of June 6th…at the age of 37 at Faith Presbyterian Hospice in Dallas, after a long battle with cancer.Suzanna was born June 28th 1982 in Paris
Suzanna was born June 28th 1982 in Paris,Tx to Bennie and Vickie Chennault Landers.
She graduated from Paris High School in 2000 and most recently employed by Apple Medical in Denison.
Suzanna is survived by her daughters Taliyah and Baileigh Edwards. She is also survived by her mother and stepfather, Vickie and Mike Covington, her father, Bennie Landers, her grandmother, Lemmie Chennault , her cousin/sister, Jennifer Larkin and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.Preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Robert Chennault, paternal grandparents, Bennie and Martha Landers, and several aunts and uncles.

Suzanna had a caring and humble personality and was loved by all who knew her. She was a loving and devoted daughter and has often said her mother was her best friend. In one facebook tribute Suzanna expressed how thankful she was for her mother and all of the sacrifices she made in life just to be her mom.. stating, “everyday” I become a little more like my mother and I couldn’t be more proud.”
Suzanna was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them and has fought every day for the past year and a half to “stay alive” for them.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 9, 2020 in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Chapel with Gary Landers and Tiny Freelen officiating. Burial will follow in the Knights of Honor Cemetery with James Matthew Covington, Troy Covington, Phillip Chennault, Christopher Green, Rusty Vandiver and Kenneth Ray Hughes serving as pallbearers. Family will receive friends from 7:00 PM till 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
