Susan Denise (Webb) Weiberg, 67, of Blossom, passed away Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, at her home.
A Gathering of Family and Friends is scheduled between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home. Susan, the daughter of Melvin Leslie Webb & Rebecca Sue “Becky” Ray Webb, was born Feb. 24, 1959, in Dallas, TX.
In 1977, she graduated from Prairiland High School and then received her degree in education from East Texas State University. Art was her passion. Her career teaching art with the Paris Independent School District spanned 21 years before her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Thomas Kent Weiberg who passed away Aug. 31, 2014.
Survivors include three children, Christopher McDowra and wife Rebecca, Pamela Whitaker and husband Eric and Nicholas McDowra, Sr., grandchildren, Matthew McDowra, Joshua McDowra, Kyler McDowra, Jospeh McDowra, Jayden Whitaker, Jake Whitaker, Jace Whitaker, Nicholas McDowra, Jr., and Bentley McDowra, a brother, Mark Webb, and a sister, Shelley Russell along with several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
