Sharon Louise Johnson, 65 of Chicota, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018.
A graveside service has been set for Friday, August 24, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Springhill Cemetery with Rev. Roger Rister officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
Sharon was born on October 8, 1952 in Vernon, Texas to Lonzo and Annie Farmer. She worked in the Nursing field for over 40 years. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, “Nonna”, daughter and sister. She loved taking care of everybody and never met a stranger.
She is survived by her son, Bryan Johnson and wife Charlotte; daughter, Mandy Werline and husband Shannon; grandchildren, Josh Marr, Brookelynne, Pvt. Brennen and Brayden Johnson, Josh and Joey Werline, Bailey Sutfin and husband Austin, Lauren Frazier, Kristen and McKinley Deanda and Bryce Beathard; great-grandchildren, Henley Sutfin and Luna Romero; siblings, Kathy Blassengame and husband Paul, Nancy Beshirs, Patti Medcalf and husband Jesse, Eddie Farmer and wife Gayle; sister-in-law, Modene Lentz and husband Jack; sister-in-law, Ilene Farmer; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Jimmie Johnson; daughter, Kristi Johnson; parents, Rev. Lonzo and Annie Farmer; brother, Rev. David Farmer; brother-in-law, Ruel Beshirs
