The Paris City Council is accepting applications from registered voters residing within the city limits of Paris to fill vacancies on three boards and commissions.

There are two vacancies on the Building and Standards Commission. This commission typically meets once per month to evaluate structures and determine remedies to ensure compliance with codes and ordinances.
There are two alternate positions available on the Board of Adjustment, which meets only as needed. The board hears zoning-related appeals of administrative decisions.
The Housing Authority of the City of Paris typically meets on an as-needed basis. The vacant position is reserved for a person who resides in a Paris Housing Authority property. Members of this group are appointed by the mayor.
