Sears is on its way back to serve the Paris and surrounding area as a Sears Hometown Store with a possible soft opening as soon as May 1.
According to the Lamar County Chamber of Commerce, the Sears Hometown Store will be at 3020 Clarksville Street, inside the former Big Lots building. The chamber said the projected soft opening is set for May 1.
Sears Hometown Stores cater to buyers through selling small hardware and appliances. These hardware and appliances are sold at a discount including home appliances, lawn and garden equipment, apparel, mattresses, sporting goods and tools.
