Ruth Ann Buster Stewart, 90, of Powderly passed away, August 28, 2024 at her residence. Graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 7, 2024 in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery with Rev. David Darrow officiating.
Ruth was born on November 18, 1933 in Biardstown, Tx. a daughter of William Edgar and Etha A Burton Buster. She was a hairdresser/beautician, she graduated from Paris High School and was a member of Central Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Stewart married Charles Thad Stewart on December 30, 1953 in Paris, TX. He preceded her in death on April 26, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Horace, Weldon and Jack Buster and 4 sisters, Mary Kropp, Billie Worsham, Ora Lee Hammond and Dorrell Frances Buster Humphreys.
Ruth is survived by sons, Mark Stewart and wife, Toni and Gary Stewart and wife, Patsy; grandchildren, Michelle Fox and Chris Fox, Mark Stewart Jr. and Tyson Cobb and husband and great-grandchildren, Mason Fox, Meralyse Stewart, Maverick Stewart and Wyatt Cobb. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
