Robert Wayne Wisdom 69, of Aubrey, Texas, formerly of Sumner, passed away at 11:20 PM, Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 15, 2020 in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Bro. Clayton Waggoner officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time on Monday. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

Robert was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on August 11, 1950 to Hollis and Juanita Wisdom. He served in the United States Army from 1967-1971. He retired from the Dallas Morning News as a building operator and licensed plumber.
Robert was known for his jokes and love he had for his wife, children, and grandkids. Robert and Sondra had been married for 49 years.

He was known as “Papa” by his grandkids who thought he could do no wrong. He would do any and everything for his kids and grandkids. He loved to be outside in his yard or on his computer listening to oldies. He also enjoyed reading his Bible.
Robert is survived by his wife, Sondra Trammel Wisdom; his son, Hollis Wisdom and wife, Amber; his daughter, Crystal Slater and husband, Billy Slater; and five granddaughters, Danielle, Harley, Austyn Wisdom and Jayden and Trinity Wafer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hollis Homer Wisdom and mother, Juanita Corn Wisdom Moore; his step-father, Euless Moore; two brothers, Danny and Roy Moore; and two sisters, Jean Corn and Doris Johnson.

Daddy-Papa, we miss you so much and loved you more than you’ll ever know. Until we meet again fly high “our angel”.
