RED RIVER COUNTY – Search and rescue efforts are underway after an underground bunker explosion in Red River County earlier today.
According to reports, three people are missing and are believed to be trapped inside the underground bunker at a deer camp in the Talco area.
The Paris Fire Department confirmed two firefighters were sent down to assist and conduct air-monitoring on Sunday afternoon.
Around 4:31 p.m., KLTV reported the Longview Fire Department was on the way to the area to assist in search and rescue efforts. =
The State Fire Marshal and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) are on the scene along with the Red River County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Public Safety (DPS).
