Oklahoma country music superstar Blake Shelton is set to open a restaurant and bar in southern Oklahoma next month.
Tishomingo, OK will soon be home to The Doghouse at Ole Red.
Not only will the new venue feature live music but also “BS-approved” food and beverages.
The Ole Red website says, “Settle in with a BS-approved cocktail or beer, start off with a plate of brisket nachos or smoked chicken wings, enjoy our famous fried catfish or center-cut rib-eye, and save room for a slice of bourbon pecan pie or Ole Red velvet cake!”
According to reports, Shelton acquired the property in 2016 following his divorce from his ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, who had operated retail and bed-and-breakfast establishments in Tishomingo.
“It’s always been a dream of mine to create something like this where people know they’re going to have a good time as soon as they walk in the door,” said Shelton.
The Doghouse at Ole Red Tishomingo is set to open over the Memorial Day weekend with performances by Shelton and fellow country superstar Luke Bryan.
“It’s unreal to me that a spot like The Doghouse exists in Tishomingo,” said Shelton in a statement. “Growing up, if I wasn’t outdoors hunting or fishing, I was looking for a stage to play music. The Doghouse is going to be the best place to see all the great talent that exists in this part of the country. I’m excited to get the party started with my friend Luke and support a cause that’s so close to my heart.”
Tickets go on sale May 2nd and proceeds will benefit the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Foundation.
